On March 7th, 2021, Khawarizmi International College successfully premiered a virtual graduation ceremony, celebrating the Batch of 2020.
The virtual graduation, already special in its nature, celebrated a special batch of students representing, a batch of hope and determination; a hope for a better tomorrow, and a determination to overcome all the challenges.
Following the established tradition, the ceremony commenced with the national anthem and the recitation of the Holy Quran.
‘Our students have come a long way in adapting and integrating with new developments and responding effectively to changes’ noted KIC president Dr. Assem Al-Hajj, while addressing the students. In his speech, he congratulated all the graduates and highlighted the importance and meaning tied to their resilience and adaptability, in light of the pandemic and its repercussions.
Dr. Al-Hajj also noted other strategic milestones that were achieved in the past year. Starting from the most recent achievement, the president highlighted the renewal of institutional licensure, implementation of modern digital infrastructure, relocation of Al Ain campus to Al Meryal, installation of advanced and AI-enabled medical labs,
‘We invite our graduates to be KIC ambassadors and contribute extensively to the brilliance of the UAE.’ noted KIC Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Nabil El Kadhi, while addressing over 300 graduates that represent 37 nationalities.
