KIC Mass Communication department organized a roundtable discussion to discuss various perspectives related to the state of education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Session’s panel members, represented by Prof. Nabil El-Kadhi, KIC VP for Academic Affairs, United Arab Emirates, Dr. Mohanned Alfiras, Gulf University President, Bahrain, and Dr. Fawzeya Al-Motairy, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University Head of the Graphic Design and Digital Media department, Saudi Arabia, have discussed topics such as the impact of the pandemic on the Higher Education sector, building resilient and sustainable learning infrastructure that addresses contemporary challenges, reimagining the teaching and learning, accelerating the change, and promoting all-inclusive education.
Each of the panel members built their case based on the success stories of their respective institutions as related to distance learning and hybrid learning experiences. KIC distance learning and hybrid learning success stories are being used as a case study during such discussions, covering implications on the overall learning ecosystem, course delivery, student screening, teaching assistance, proctoring, and more.
