IT Projects Exhibition was held on April 24, 2019, by Department of Information Technology (Academia) at Khawarizmi International College, Abudhabi. This unique idea was initiated for students to present their project as a Poster Presentation and Practical Demos.
Dr. Assem Al-Hajj (KIC President) inaugurated the event along with Dr. Mohamed Alani (Provost KIC) and other Faculty and Staff Members. More than 200 students and 30 Faculty members attended the event and appreciated the students who were presenting the Posters.
Students presented different topics in the Exhibition such as (QoS in Wireless Networks, Connectivity issues in Wireless Networks, Library Systems, Car Rental Systems, Network Attacks, Computer Graphics, User Interface Design and best Practices, Wifi indoor dead Zone, Network Security threats and solutions) supervised by Dr. Saad (Head of IT Department), Dr. Muhammad Khan (Assistant Professor, IT), Dr. Samar Mouti (Assistant Professor, IT) and Dr. Omar Khalil (Associate Professor, IT).
The Event was organized by Dr. Saad (Head of IT Department) and Dr. Muhammad Khan (Assistant Professor, IT). Students presented the Poster and demos with confidence and got a lot of appreciation from the management. The main idea was for this event to bring more confidence in students so they can participate at National and International level competitions in the future.
Judges Panelists (Dr. Mohamed Alani (Provost KIC), Dr. Omar Khalil (Associate Professor, IT) did mark the posters. The 3 best posters will be announced in a few days.
In the end, Dr. Assem Al-Hajj gathered the students and thank them. Dr. Assem also added that he was very happy and excited to listen to the students. Our students are very confident, motivated and very creative. They are ready to participate in conferences and competitions. President also expressed his gratitude to the IT Department (Academia) for supervising the students.
