Sunrise English Private School organized an Inter School Debate and Extempore Competition on 9th January, 2019. The purpose of this Debate competition was to equip our up-coming generation to probe deep into the day-to-day issues of contemporary relevance, thus prepare them to face the 21st century by critically and analytically exploring deep into the world around them. Participants of the Debate competition, “Unabated Linguists” from 9 different schools of Abu Dhabi, reached Sunrise School by 9:30am accompanied by their respective teachers. The Extempore competition, “Unabated Orators” was solely organized for the teachers who accompanied the students.
The panel of judges who arbitrated the Debate competition was Dr. Mukti Ashu Pragya Sharma, Head of General Education Department and Assistant Professor, Khawarizmi International College, Abu Dhabi, Mr. Rakesh George, Publisher,TMG (The MediaGroup) and Professor Ali Kamran, Associate Professor, London Qualifications and Assessments.
The panel of Judges who adjudged the extempore competition of the teachers was Mrs Kauser Fatima, Senior Lecturer, General Education Department, Khawarizmi International College, Abu Dhabi and Professor Finbar Martin, Educational Consultant, London Qualifications and Assessments.
