On the occasion of UAE’s Golden Jubilee, KIC Mass Communications department organized the 7th edition of its annual media harvest.
The event included a gallery of the graduation projects of the Mass Communications students and was graced by the presence of Professor Nabil El Kadi, President of Khwarizmi International College, Dr. Muhammad Rashad, Head of the Department of KIC Mass Communication department, in addition to academics and media professionals in the country, such as Dr. Hani Al-Ghas, film director and founder of the Tamouh Media Volunteer Team, Mr. Abdullah Abdul Karim, Executive Director of Emirates News Agency, Mr. Jamal Jibril, Deputy Head of the Technical Department at the Middle East News Agency, and Counselor Dr. Jassem Obaid Al Zaabi, the General Command of the Community Police, and Dr. Mansour Ahmed Al Shehhi, Abu Dhabi Police.
Professor El Kadi stressed that this event bears a unique characteristic, as it coincides with the country’s celebrations of the Golden Jubilee and its development model to be followed locally, regionally and internationally. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may God have mercy upon him), has strived to be a leader who always sought to achieve development and spread peace, security and stability, an approach that our wise leadership continues to follow, an approach that enables the gains that are achieved every day within the framework of a creative forward-looking vision for the next fifty years to come.
Among many projects, students aimed to promote peaceful nuclear energy culture, sand tourism in Abu Dhabi within the framework of Abu Dhabi’s diversified economy 2030, artificial intelligence applications in the UAE media sector, environmental protection, modern means to promote domestic and foreign tourism, EXPO 2020 Dubai, innovation within SMEs, and much more.
