International Students at KIC were called to action by KIC President, Dr. Al-Hajj in an event organized by the Student Affairs department and the Student Councils in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, both of whom have conducted a series of meetings with international students to gain insights about their time spent at the College and factors that drive enrollment of the international community.
“You [students] are the most important pillar at KIC” Dr. Assem Al-Hajj told the group. He also highlighted major updates happening at KIC in this academic year, such as relicensure and the reaccreditation of current programs by CAA this year. He stressed how important it is for the KIC management team to acquire student driven data such as joining motives and student needs that the College will use to improve KIC programs, services and student experience, whilst fostering a truly international community and make it a more substantial institution.
Given the context, students willingly participated and offered valuable suggestions to the management team.
