What are you most curious about in life?
Learning and mastering new skills, elaborating and disseminating my academic and technical expertise, and reading all types of literature.
What are the failures that you most cherish?
Being instrumental in multi-directional projects though sometimes struggling to meet a deadline.
If you could go back five years, what advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t be reckless, but take smart and calculated risks.
Some of my best decisions in life were scary at that moment but turned out to be very fruitful in long run.
What do you do outside of the work environment?
I always try to maintain a constant care with my family members and friends.
What is the most courageous thing you have done in your life?
Moving to the UAE many years ago. At that time, I was young and excited about starting a new life. Alhumdulillah, after so many years, I can proudly say that it was one of my best decisions as this country has helped me to become whatever I am today.
What is your favourite film/series and why?
I usually don’t enjoy watching foreign films, but recently I watched the movie Inception on my daughter’s recommendation. Not only it is one of the most original movies, but it is also absolutely riveting stuff. I highly recommend everyone to watch it. Go, get intrigued, and push the boundaries of your mind.
